Oscar Gomez is the one who gave color to our story.
The story of Vilo’s Café is not told with words alone, it is painted. His art arrived like an embrace: warm, vibrant, full of life. With every brushstroke, he transformed our bags into more than just packaging; he turned them into memory, into emotion, into ritual.
Oscar paints with the heart of his homeland. His colors don’t simply decorate, they awaken. The first seeds of his artistry were planted in Colombia, yet life carried him away from the canvas for a time. In Jacksonville, Florida, he found his way back, where silence gave way to color, and the brush returned to his hand.
Today, he nurtures his vision from La Ceja, a town nestled in the mountains near his native Medellín, Colombia. There, memory and landscape converge, infusing life into every stroke. His vibrant, colorful style transforms our labels into living postcards, carrying the heartbeats of culture and feeling.
This collaboration was born from friendship, from a shared desire to turn coffee into an aesthetic ritual, an offering, a tribute to who we are.
